Bevel tinkered all night.
He has been up in his workshop, and he has something to show you. A crafting table, built and ready to go. Walk up, tell him yes, and he will run you through it himself. It is the shortest Ranger lesson you will ever take.

Blocks go in. Props come out.
The table turns the blocks you have been hauling around into finished things. Open the recipe book and flip through what you can make: a mushroom, a patch of flowers, tall grass, a stool, a cot, a firepit, a palm tree. Every recipe card shows exactly what it takes and how much of it you already have, so you always know when you are one block short.

Craft it, then collect it.
Pick your recipe, hit Craft, and watch it come together right there on the table. When it is done it sits there glowing, waiting for you. Hit Collect and it is yours.

Then go plant it.
Everything you craft lands in your build palette, ready for the moment you step into a build zone. Drop a firepit in the middle of camp. Line a path with mushrooms. Put a palm tree exactly where you want the shade. That is where crafting pays off: the thing you made goes straight into the island you are building.

Get a table of your own.
Finish Bevel's lesson and he will hand you a few spare mushrooms to get you started. But you do not have to keep hiking back to his workshop, because you can get a crafting table of your own. Take it with you and craft as you move around the island in a build zone: spot the perfect corner for a firepit, make one on the spot, and place it before you have even decided what goes next to it.
